This decorating job was a complete makeover in a new home for my client. She had most of the furnishings from her old home and wanted a new space that she could enjoy. This is a contemporary and clean design that makes for a perfect place to entertain and share with family. The color on the walls and the painted stripes pulls this space together. The custom made art, that I painted, along with the custom made curtains gives this space that added punch.... it is beautiful.

           

           

           

           

Fun and energetic is how I describe this space. My client had this existing room used for guests and she wanted a new space for her scrapbooking and a place for her treadmill. She wanted it to be fun and energizing where she would feel creative and motivated. On part of one wall I used chalkboard paint and on the other wall (the gray stripe) is magnetic paint. By doing this her son has a place he can enjoy, by hanging art and drawing on the chalkboard while mom works out or works on her scrapbooking projects. This was a very fun project.

           

       

Here is a perfect example of remix and rearrange while working with a very small budget, under $100. My client did not like the feel of her living room. I designed this space working first with the very large window by adding custom curtains from floor to ceiling that lifts the space. Then I added a very formal look by painting stripes with glaze on two walls. It lifts the energy in this space even more and gives the room its own va-voom! I also rearranged the furniture in a way the was more inviting and where the furnishings complimented each other. A perfect look at how you can blend different pieces together throughout your home without spending a dime!
